Dear Readers & Residents (again),

We regret to be writing to you so soon, it comes at a surprise to perhaps both of us. First of all, we'd like to start by thanking all of you for the overwhelming support for Grass Block Tower in the past and in the present, we appreciate it immensley. We're writing to you to discuss yet another issue that has been taken up with GBT, we can't say we're surprised, can you? In the following paragraphs we address a number of points put across to us by the QC staff team.

A day ago we received letters from various members of high-ranking staff mambers (pictured below). First of all, we must express our disappointment at the introduction of a new rule, seemingly moving the goal posts for the second time. Despite past instances, it seems our optimism about avoiding such issues in the future was unfounded. To our knowledge, there is currently no rule specifying a login period to validate a claim. Moreover, we ensured the tower's claim remained active during our temporary absence for the benefit of Grass Block Tower users. Secondly, determining how one 'engages' with the community is a challenge, something that has confused multiple of us, we perceive this as rather subjective.

We take issue with the accusations levelled against us and fellow GBT members. We are not involved in recruiting individuals from QueerCraft. However, we do understand the efforts of members who may feel excluded or, from our perspective, pushed out of the community, to maintain friendships despite their discomfort or inability to play on QueerCraft.

The reference to 'the spirit of the agreement' is also peculiar. We upheld our end of the agreement, defining the spirit of something is entirely subjective. The letter suggests a certain anger or upset towards us, evident in the implementation of a rule preventing us from claiming the land beneath Grass Block Tower. The purpose behind this rule is unclear, especially as it is a rule imposed on the owners of GBT and only the owners. The implementation appears to be unnecessarily difficult. Some of our residents will have received a letter from the QueerCraft staff team encouraging them to seek a refund through us, declaring that the forceful removal of GBT is our fault. Whilst we wish we could offer refunds to our residents, as you can appreciate this comes at an unexpected arrival. Unfortunately, we do not possess the means to be able to refunds our residents, we hope you understand.

As we make our way to the inevitable end of GBT, we would like to thank you again for the memories made, your unwavering support and most importantly the friends we have made along the way.

We would like to leave you with one final message, a quote from the famous American memorist, Maya Angelou.

"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them."

Kind regards,

Ewan & Spartan
